Raynham might want to merge some teams next season

3/4 team registered for jamboree
PICTURE DAY: Mother’s Day? Last Game? Rent Lincoln Field for whole league practice?
Board voted to rent Lincoln field for one Thursday night practice to hold pictures and fun practice for entire league.
Heather to secure Lincoln field or alternative location
CLINICS:
Need to gauge interested in running clinics – if all coaches are present at this meeting please just jot down name of
people who could potentially help out at the following clinics. Even if it just a maybe – we will plan at a later date and
not hold anyone to it.
Summer Clinic: Free clinic put on by High School – week of July 17 th – Waiting on
school board approval then we can advertise. Do not see a reason for denial but
can’t communicate until approved.
Fall Clinic: Put on by coaches? Meredith and Evan expressed interest – table until
next meeting
Winter Clinic: Wheaton? Forekicks? Teamworks?
Stick with forekicks
Need ideas on locations to hold clinic: Can someone gather information on each location – cost, timing, etc
Forekicks, Dighton Town Hall, Francis Farm, Wheaton College, Longplex, Teamworks, WON Sports
2023-2024 Season:
Open registration in August when MBYL opens
4 month payment plan.
We need to bring fee down in 2024 by doing more fundraising – baseball season is $140

Secretary: Heather Costa; not coming back
Treasurer: Chip Dietrich

Fundraising:
Proposing fundraising events will go toward lowering fees in 2024. Advertise that funds will go toward paying for player
insurance in 2024
Heather Spellman looking into cornhole tournament
Football Golf outings can raise $7 - $10K
Calendar raffle in May?
Board voted to implement Snap fundraising – Crystal will follow up
End of season celebration:
Last home game: secure face painter and ice cream truck
Player gifts?
Shooter shirts with names on back would run around $10-$15 each
Did not commit at meeting but coaches offered to put money toward more quality gift; board voted via email 3-2 to
purchase tshirts with player names; going to fundraise to bring cost down as much as possible
Field Space:
Do we have other options to host our home games?
Pete is looking into Moses Brown fields; future board to circle back with Soccer and see if we can partner with a sport
that does not compete with our season
